CPSC - CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION :: October 21, 2014
ChainGallery® products are tested on a regular basis as recommended by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Our current test report, dated October 21, 2014, indicates ChainGallery® products meet CPSC and California requirements for Lead and Cadmium Content based on Accredited 3rd Party Laboratory tests.
Component Breakdown List:
1). Test Lead Content in Surface Coatings: NEGATIVE
Method: The test is conducted according to the US CPSC Standard Operating Procedure for Determining Total Lead (Pb) in surface coatings, April 26, 2009 (CPSC-CH-E1003-09)
2). Total Lead Content - Metal and Non-Metal Substrates: NEGATIVE
Method: The test is conducted according to the US CPSC Standard Operating Procedure for Determining Total Lead (Pb) Content in Metal and Non-Metal Products, June 21, 2010 (CPSC-CH-E1001-08 CPSC-CH-E1002-08) and with reference to US EPA 3050B or 3051. The Lead content was analyzed by HDXRF.
3). Total Cadmium Content - Surface Coating - CA Prop 65 Limit: NEGATIVE
Method: With reference to US EPA 3050B or 3051. The cadmium content was analyzed by Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma Spectrometer / Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer.
4). Total Cadmium Content - Metal and Non-Metal Substrates - CA Prop 65 Limit: NEGATIVE
Method: With reference to US EPA 3050B or 3051. The cadmium content was analyzed by inductively Coupled Argon Plasma Spectrometer / Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer.
5). Nickel Spot Test- Qualitative: NEGATIVE
PD CR 12471:2002, Screening tests for nickel release from alloys and coatings in items that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
